Animal Universe GameAnimal Universe is a game about animals and their habitats. This game is for kids in kindergarten and early elementary grades. The object of the Animal Universe game is to match animals to their native habitats. Twelve habitats and sixty different animals make up the content for this game. All the world biomes are represented in the habitat set. The habitats include: tropical forest, temperate forest, rainforest, grasslands (prairies and savannas), mountain, wetlands, and tundra. As kids play Animal Universe, they can collect sixty animal cards. Each card has basic stats (length, height, weight, diet, lifespan, conservation status), a distribution map, and facts about an animal. Many of the cards include animal sounds. The sixty animals include mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, and invertebrates. Several endangered animals such as the giant panda, the Hawksbill sea turtle, Bengal tiger, and African elephant are among the animals covered in Animal Universe. Playing Animal Universe and collecting the sixty animal cards offers kids the opportunity to learn many concepts related to the Life Sciences and Geography educational standards. |
